FALL 2025 & WINTER 2026 CAMPS

2.5 HOUR BASEBALL & SOFTBALL CAMPS (Nov 9th, Jan 10th, Feb 28th, and Mar 14th)
Single morning camps are offered for baseball (as shown in the schedule above).  Each camp lasts 2.5 hours.  Each camp day starts with approximately 15 minutes of stretching and throwing progressions.  These progressions are tought to not only limber up the athletes bodies and arms but to teach them proper techniques for doing so.  After warm-ups each camp is broken up into age specific groups for instruction and drills.  Instruction lasts for the next 2 hours and is normally followed by a 15 minute wrap up and summary.
.
3-WEEK SOFTBALL PITCHERS & CATCHERS CLINIC (JAN 4, 11, 18)
3-session clinics are offered for softball (as shown in the schedule above) pitchers and catchers.  Camps are held on three consecutive Saturdays in January (4,11,18) with January 25th being set aside as a snow date make-up option.  This is a small focused camp with a capacity of only 4 pitchers and 4 catchers..  Pitching instruction will be led by UMBC Division I Pitching Coach Samantha Frey while the catching instruction will be led by UMBC Assistant Coach Matt Lubaszewski.  The groups (pitchers and catchers) will be taught concurrently by each respective instructor with the goal of connecting the pitchers and catchers in simulated situations.  Players that can sign up with their teammate as a picther/catcher tandom will get a high level opportunity to gel as a unit on the feild.  This clinic is not recommended for beginners.  Some experience in pitching and catching is preferred.
.
8-WEEK BASEBALL HIGH SCHOOL PREP WORKOUT SESSIONS w/ TRAINER HELP
SATURDAYS IN JANUARY & FEBRUARY 4-6PM (excluding Feb 28th; 1st Day of HS Tryouts)
This offering is designed for high school players of all grade levels as well as 8th graders planning to try-out for baseball in high school.  These sessions will be run similar to a regular high school workout.  The workouts will be structured each week to include practice stations for hitting drills, fielding drills, and pitching. Players will move from station to station and drill at designated intervals.  Instructors will be guiding the workouts, coordinating the stations and station stay-times and will be available to offer assitance with mechanics as needs arise.  Players are encouraged to come with a positive attitude and be ready to ask for help, as needed.

Several high schools in our area have similar programs run by parents or volunter assistants.  We are offering this program for those individuals who do not attend a high school that has such a parent/volunteer led program.  Our goal is to provide a players a head-start to the upcoming baseball season and perform as well as possible at tryouts.
