RVP Video Analyis Costs Analysis ONLY $60 Picture Strip ONLY $15 Picture Strip/CD Combination: $19 Premium Package (Analysis, Picture Strip, CD): $69 (SAVE $10)
Descriptions:
Analysis ONLY - In the batting/pitching tunnels we will videotape your hitting OR pitching motion. The videotape portion takes about 5-10 minutes and will record 3-6 repititions of your swing or pitch motion. After that we will proceed to our video analysis room and upload that video into our Right View Pro analysis software, program the motion and anlayze your mechanics. The analysis portion generally takes another 45-50 minutes for a single student. Generally, the analysis will include a brief lesson on proper mechanics that uses the professional player models in Right View Pro as a basis. The instructor will then walk through your recorded motion (hitting OR pitching) and show you where improvements may be made. Cross-reference to the professional models will be used extensively during this portion of the analysis to help you better understand (and see!) where those differences exist. Weaknesses that are detected in the subject's motion can be explained and specific drills and practice tips to improve those areas will be offered. Often, it is a flaw or breakdown early in the motion that leads to other problems "down the line". Depending on the student, significant improvement may be achieved by correcting one or two of the more significant flaws in the motion.
Picture Strip - The picture strip is your "hard copy" record of the recorded motion. It consists of three 8x10 photo strips that lay out a chronological record of the 12 points of the motion. Each of these 12 points is matched with the professional player (chosen by the customer) motion in a series of 12 still photographs. The Picture Strip can be useful as a "take-away" record of the video analysis. The picture strip record can be used for reference when the player is practicing to overcome a flaw or bad habit. The Picture Strip also makes a nice keepsake record to track your child's skills development. Purchase of a Picture Strip is optional.
CD - Each motion consists of a 3 to 4 second clip. It is saved as a video (.AVI) file that can be played on most computers with digital video capabilities. The recorded motion can be copied onto CD as a "take-away" to the anlaysis. Although the video may be played on your home-computer (in most cases), it will not have the stop action ability that the instructor will have when that video is being shown using the RVP software. An RVP Player Viewer is available for purchase for the serious student/player. This provides a "scaled-down" version of the RVP software that will allow you to play and view the motion in much the same way as you did during the analysis.
